November is National Novel Writing Month.

Because I have come to doubt my ability to both write a novel and draw new pages, I present you in the meantime a few comic pages I drew for part of the Audition for a contest on DeviantArt.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, folks! Life has been busy.

I am still fighting depression, but the good news is, I am doing a lot better. I mean, a LOT better. There are a few things contributing to this. One is just time and therapy and medicine. Another is, I've finally got a job!

It is only part time, and only for the next two months, but I am now employed by the Maryland Renaissance Festival ~trumpeting fanfare~

I am so happy, this is like a dream job for me. I did a research paper on Tudor fashion when I was in the fifth grade, or thenabouts, and I've been a huge history nerd for forever. I get to wear the clothes I make to work, and talk to all the wonderful nerdy people like me ~happy dance~ it's like going to a con every weekend, and getting paid for it.

Anyway. Upside is, I'm a lot happier and more motivated to sew and get some of those commissions I've been sitting on for months ~cough~ actually out the door and into the hands of the people who have paid me for them (sorry everyone!) Downside? I haven't worked on Annie in come on three weeks now >.>

But Annie is NOT Dead!

This weekend is labor day weekend, so I'm working all three days, but starting tuesday I'm going to buckle down and comic. My goal is to get four pages up in the coming week to make up for the weeks I missed and get caught up with the story. This may or may not happen, but it is a goal ~thumbsup~
